Annual meetings

The annual meeting of the Vigdís Institute of Foreign Languages and the Vigdís International Centre for Multilingualism and Intercultural Understanding for the year 2021 were held in Veröld – House of Vigdís on 29 April 2022. 

Activities of the Institute and Centre in 2021, and both annual report and financial statements for the year were presented. Upcoming activities in the year 2022 were also discussed.

Ásdís Rósa Magnúsdóttir is the chair of the board of the Vigdís Institute of Foreign Languages. Other members are Oddný G. Sverrisdóttir, Kristín Ingvarsdóttir, Geir Þórarinn Þórarinsson and Jóna Guðrún Guðmundsdóttir, representative of doctoral students. 

Members of the board of Vigdís International Centre are Ann-Sofie Nielsen Gremaud, chair, Geir Sigurðsson, Guðrún Kvaran, Irmgarda Kasinskaite, Sofiya Zahova, and Sæunn Stefánsdóttir. 

In the end of the meeting of the Vigdís International Centre, Ásdís Rósa Magnúsdóttir was presented with a bouquet of flowers from the staff and board of the Centre, as a token of their gratitude for her time as a chair until the end of 2021.
