The International Mother Language Day celebrated in Veröld

The International Mother Language Day, held on February 21st each year, celebrates linguistic diversity and promotes the preservation and protection of mother languages around the world.

To celebrate the day, school children from 3rd and 4th grade of Melaskóli were invited to Veröld – House of Vigdís today, where they participated in a language-related activity. The result was an impressive waterfall of words in many different languages.
