The International Mother Language Day UNESCO Webinar
The International Mother Language Day is a worldwide annual observance held on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic diversity and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism. The initiative for the celebration of the International Mother Language Day came from Bangladesh, where it was first celebrated before being formally recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in 2002.
The theme of the 2022 International Mother Language Day is Using technology for multilingual learning: Challenges and opportunities. Today UNESCO has organized an international webinar under the same theme.
