New Board at the Vigdís International Centre

Ásdís Rósa Magnúsdóttir, who was a Chairperson of the governing body of Vigdís International Centre from May 2018 until the end of December 2021 has now completed her tenure and a new board has been formed.

The current members of the board of the Vigdís International Centre are Ann-Sofie Nielsen Gremaud, Geir Sigurðsson, and Sofiya Zahova, all appointed by the University of Iceland, Guðrún Kvaran, appointed by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Irmgarda Kasinskaite, appointed by UNESCO, and Sæunn Stefánsdóttir, appointed by the Icelandic UNESCO commission.
