Successful workshop on the culture of Roma people

Roma people and researchers of the Roma culture assembled in Veröld – House of Vigdís today, for an international workshop, held in the Romani and English languages. The workshop is the first in a series of three workshops that provide a platform for discussion of Romani agency in various forms of literature, folklore and cultural production with the participation of Roma active in both academia and practice.

The workshop is a part of the Roma in the Centre Initiative, organized and lead by Sofiya Zahova, postdoctoral researcher at the Vigdís Finnbogadóttir Institute of foreign languages.
