Lend me wings. Vigdís Finnbogadóttir – life and impact

The exhibition Lend me wings. Vigdís Finnbogadóttir – life and impact is a collaboration between The University of Iceland and The Vigdís International Centre for Multilingualism and Intercultural Understanding.

The exhibition sheds light on Vigdís Finnbogadóttir's influence both in Iceland and in an international context, and the issues she has championed, both as President of Iceland and later as a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador.

The building that houses the exhibition is known as Loftskeytastöðin or the Telegraph Station. It is situated next door to Veröld - House of Vigdís.
